Brexit Day Celebration in London

47 years of EU membership ended last night as the Union Flag was taken down without ceremony in the council of the EU and outside the European parliament whilst more than 5,000 leavers celebrated on Parliament Square in Westminster.
 
After 1,317 days, 3 prime ministers & 2 general elections since the EU referendum result Britain’s last moments inside the EU were counted down in a light show projected on to the black door of 10 Downing Street, where Boris Johnson held a party for his staff after releasing a pre-recorded address to the nation.
