The Labour Party in the UK General Election 2024

An assignment for Helsingin Sanomat to visit Clacton-on-Sea & Peterborough to meet with Labour parliamentary candidates as Labour are set for a landslide victory in UK general election on July 4th.

In Clacton-on-Sea we met with Labour candidate Jovan Owuso-Nepaul who is standing against Nigel Farage (Reform UK Party) who is trying to become an MP for an eighth time.
In Peterborough we met with candidate Andrew Pakes whilst out canvassing in the suburbs with his team aided on the day by visiting Labour MP for Cambridge Daniel Zeichner.
